LEVEF Puts Free Books Into Young Readers' Hands!

The Lake Elsinore Valley Education Foundation (LEVEF) recently distributed over 700 free books to second and third grade students in two elementary schools in Wildomar and Lake Elsinore.  The Foundation is in its third year of making books available to young readers who attend pre-school through fifth grade in the Lake Elsinore Unified School District.  The Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide college scholarships and education opportunities for students of the Elsinore Valley

The book program serves to furnish free activity books and reading materials to some of LEUSD's youngest readers, while also promoting the Foundation.  According to President Kevin Pape, "Thanks to the Foundation's all volunteer Board of Directors and bookplate sponsor, Lake Buick-GMC, the Foundation has distributed over 4,500 books since starting the program in 2011.".
